Six identified through video footage, detained over Chittagong lawyer killing.

 

The Chattagram Metropolitan Police have detained six people over the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif yesterday during the unrest centring rejection of bail of former Iskcon Bangladesh leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari.

They were identified through video footage, according to the chief adviser's office.

In a Facebook post today (27 November), the CAO said the CMP also detained 21 people for vandalism and assaults on police during clashes
